All the decorations are holiday themed, and Fishdom has a problem with overcrowded tanks that look like junk yards by the time you're done anyway start us with empty tanks and it'll look holiday-ish enough by the time it's done. Note that I've been playing these games for a long time. I'm up over 4400 levels in the original Fishdom I keep playing because I enjoy the gameplay just that much. I tried Fishdom2 and it was fun, but after a while I went back to the original. This holiday one is fun too, but once I've beaten all the tanks, I'll probably go back to number one. The gameplay is great, though - perfect for when I'm in the mood to turn off most of my brain and just futz around for a while. Building up the tanks is a distraction, if anything.

There are some boards I love, some that are just basically fun, and some that are kind of annoying. Once you've beaten the game and upgraded your tanks as much as will be recognized (gold trophy in everything) it'd be cool to have a "free play" kind of mode, where you can choose which board to play each time.

Once you've won, as it were, then playing should just be fun, however the player defines that. Much as I endorse the positive quotes concerning the Fishdom series, I have to sound a sour not of slight incompatibility with my system (32-bit XP Pro, SP3). When I move a beauty item over the 'acceptable-placement' border(s),I obviously get the 'no entry' circle, but my computer freezes - specifically, I eventually get a message that 'the ialmrnt5 display driver has stopped working'.
